Wake Up to the Mountains

8:00am – A Hot Breakfast to Start the Day
By 8am the lodge dining room is warm and welcoming, and the smell of breakfast is already filling the air. Guests gather around the tables as the chef serves up a hearty hot breakfast designed to fuel a full day on the mountain. Coffee flows, conversations start, and the day’s ski plans take shape.
8:45am – Time for the Slopes
Boots on, skis ready, and it’s time to head out. From Kooloora Lodge it’s just a short journey to the lifts of Perisher Ski Resort, where a huge playground of runs and alpine views awaits. Whether you’re carving fresh turns, taking a lesson, or simply soaking in the mountain scenery, the day passes quickly.
4:30pm – Après-Ski at the Lodge
By late afternoon, guests return to the lodge with rosy cheeks and stories from the slopes. Boots come off, jackets are hung by the fire, and it’s time for one of the best traditions of ski culture: après-ski.
A warm drink, a relaxed lounge, and the chance to unwind with friends old and new as the sun dips behind the mountains.
6:30pm – A Communal Dinner Experience
Evenings at Kooloora Lodge are all about sharing. At 6:30pm guests gather for a three-course communal dinner, one of the highlights of the ski lodge experience.
Around the table, people swap stories from the day’s adventures—first runs, spectacular falls, and unexpected powder stashes. Conversations flow easily, and by the end of the meal strangers have often become friends.
After Dinner – Games and Good Company
When dinner plates are cleared, the evening continues in the lodge lounge. Some guests settle in with a puzzle, others challenge each other to a game of pool, while board games bring plenty of laughs.
